Yes. Plenty of families pack clothes, books, and everyday items themselves and leave the kitchen, glassware, artwork, and furniture to us. Tell us which rooms or items you want us to handle when you request your quote, and we will plan the crew and materials to match. Just make sure the boxes you pack yourself are sealed, labeled, and not overloaded.

Before we carry anything out, we lay protection over high-traffic floors and pad the door frames and banisters along the path. Furniture is wrapped in moving blankets, and we use dollies and straps for the heavy pieces so nothing drags or scrapes. We do the same thing at your new home, which matters most when you are moving into a freshly painted or newly finished house.

Yes. We run our own trucks with our own movers and do not pass your move to a subcontractor or broker. The people you talk to while planning are the same company that loads your home and delivers it, whether you are moving within the Dayton area, around Cincinnati, or out of state. If something needs to change on moving day, you have one team to talk to.

We look at the number of rooms, how much furniture you have, and any large or awkward pieces, then factor in things like stairs, elevators, long walks from the door to the truck, and parking. A second-floor apartment with a narrow stairwell might need a different crew than a ranch house with a driveway. Giving us an honest inventory up front keeps the plan accurate.

Finish packing the rooms you use least, set aside a box of first-night essentials, and empty and defrost the fridge if it is coming with you. Confirm parking or elevator access at both homes, and take apart anything you want to handle yourself. Label boxes by room so we can put them in the right place, and set valuables and important papers aside to take with you.
