I discovered Dow Moving on a Google search for the Fairborn area. I needed to move out of my university dorm for the summer and just needed movers to load my vehicle with my belongings. I felt foolish to hire movers just to move things to my car but Cody and the guys were helpful, friendly, and quick. I will use this company again and recommend their services.

The BEST movers in town! Dow Moving has helped us with in-town moves and in-home furniture rearranging for renovation projects. Both visits were absolute perfection. Cody and Kegan arrived on time, worked efficiently, and are some of the friendliest people we've ever met. They also ensured our more valuable and delicate items were wrapped and stored to avoid ANY possibility of damage. Even our impossibly heavy, electric recliner was no match for them! I recently moved from Ohio to New York which created an enormous amount of stress on my part. The Dow team arrived promptly with patience, experience and professionalism that calmed my nerves in no time at all. Not a single item was lost or broken and they treated all my furniture as it was their own. Thank you Nate, Greg, Cody and Tyler you guys are the Best. Special appreciation to Cody for storing a Fragile model truck in the cab. This item had absolutely no value, other than sentimental to me, being constructed by my late husband. After loading the truck on Monday, traveling 7hrs to NY on Tuesday, completely unloading the truck Tuesday night and traveling another 20 minutes to crash for the night, Cody realized the model truck was still in the cab. The guys were EXHAUSTED and still insisted on driving another 40 minute round trip that night, to return the model truck to my house. I declined, and asked that he bring the model truck back to Dayton with him and we could arrange to meet when I returned to Ohio. Cody assured me, multiple times, he would protect the model truck with his life. When I returned to Ohio, Cody delivered the model truck to my Ohio house, on his day off, on his own time, and in perfect condition. Thank you Cody so very much.Dow Movers are passionate about their job and deserve to be called the very finest movers in our area. Do not hesitate to contact this company.

Another update: once again, I chose Dow moving. They always do a stand-up job, being very pleasant, professional, and thorough. They also do a terrific job of moving grandfather clocks. I highly recommend them!Update: as stated below, we did choose to used Dow Moving again since they did such an awesome job for us before! We needed to have another grandfather clock moved, and once again, Dow Moving was wonderful! They moved the clock carefully and without any damage, and they were punctual, fast, courteous, and overall, very professional. I moved a week and a half ago and the folks at Dow Moving, made the experience very positive! It was very easy to schedule with them, even though I booked less than a week out. And the cost was less than other moving companies. They did a great job of estimating weight, they were spot on. Haven’t used full service movers before so it was all new to me. They did everything I asked and more than I expected. Drivers name was Steve I believe and kept us informed of the process and was clear about how things worked and prices. Quoted price included everything, unlike other moving places, which was nice. The move went over time because we had a lot of stuff so the price went up a little just because of that and expected it so it wasn’t a lot.

The pricing was very fair, they blanket wrapped and shrink wrapped all of our furniture to make sure it remained undamaged, boxed our large screen televisions, and moved the smaller items proficiently. They gave me a 9.5/10 for my packing and readiness and give them a 10/10. Tyler, Lemar, Nathan and Hunter got us to our end town, there also was Joe jr., Jayden and Damien who were at the start. One team, one goal and they exceeded our expectations! I have never had such a positive moving experience (and I’ve had more than a dozen) and there are not enough words to express how positive and grateful I feel about Dow Moving company and their team. From the estimating process with Nate, the communication and flexibility throughout, and most importantly, the team.. Josh, Jason, Isaiah, Brody, Steve, John, Nick (and quite a few others at times during the move)… these guys were not only incredibly proficient and careful with all of our stuff, they added so much to what is a really stressful experience for most people by being exceptionally kind, accommodating and professional, but also funny and enjoyable to be around. They never appeared to be exhausted and wanting to rush or wrap up.. through the very end, their attitude was nothing but positive and tremendously helpful - I never felt that anything I was asking was anything but a pleasure for them to complete (literally!). As you probably know, these things make a HUGE difference in a stressful experience. A couple examples of going above and beyond - Isaiah went on his own accord and got a bowl and filled it with cold water and brought it out to my dog who was sitting with me outside while I was directing the unpacking (seriously thoughtful.. just incredible). A vase that I loved broke during transit. I was not angry about this at all, just sad because I loved the vase. Josh and Isaiah were so reassuring and were trying to look online to find a replacement. Josh carefully laid out every piece and said that he could work on this to try and put it back together and talked about the process. He took the pieces with him to work on and delivered it back to me looking great!! Also, they took away the furniture we didn’t want but also stuff we needed to throw away and then also, without being asked for the help, offered and then took away large cardboard boxes from other stuff we had unboxed and assembled on our own before the move. These gestures were so kind and appreciated! These guys are not only excellent movers, they are really good people. I’m so glad I decided to work with you all - I had a gut instinct from my interactions with Nate, and you all exceeded every expectation! You have built something really special and I’m proud to be one of your customers! Thank you!!

Dow Moving did a wonderful job moving a two-bedroom apartment's worth of items for me yesterday! I had never used professional movers before, and they made the process so easy to understand and were straightforward on the cost. They showed up on time, and communicated great leading up to the move. They called the day before the move to confirm everything, and texted me the morning of to notify me that they were on their way. Kegan and Isaiah were efficient, yet careful with all my items at the same time. They were also flexible as not all the items ended up being moved, and we had to load some of them into my pick up truck instead of into the new place. It was a hot July day, but they took on the challenge like pros and actually moved all of my items under the estimated time! Shout out to the "J Crew"! Dow was the third moving company we hired as part of a multi stage move over two months and they were head and shoulders better than the rest. Josh D, Joe Jr, and Jayden showed up on time, were extremely professional, and worked hard the entire time despite the fact that it was swelteringly hot for 95% of the time and torrentially downpouring for the other 5%. Our stuff was handled with care, and securely and safely moved. We hope to not have to move again for a long time, but if we do, Dow Moving will for sure be our first call.

We needed a two-day move and they were quick to accommodate - bonus, we had the same great crew both days. They worked their tails off both days. Anything we needed… the answer was always yes. Our out of state move from Ohio to NC, was handled with care and professionalism. Nate answered all our pre-move questions and came through with what he promised. Joe, Brodie and Steve took care of our belongings during the loading. Joe and Brodie did a great job unloading and helping us organize our items when we got to NC. Hire Dow Movers. Excellent job! James the crew chief was outstanding in every aspect. He kept his crew on task, and managed my move from Dayton OH to Raleigh NC well. The price for the job was reasonable, not the highest in the area, not the lowest in the area, but right in the middle of the market rate. Well done Dow Movers. Hats off to Nathan for being a hands on manager. He was on site, and helped to streamline the job flow. Well done! Don't wast your time calling other moving companies. Just hire Dow. Headaches? GONE!

Superlative! Amazing packers and movers. Such a great deal of help with such care and attention to deal. These guys really went the extra mile and worked so hard. Whatever my husband tipped them it wasn't enough, their work was that good and they took such great care to make sure everything, even our pets were treated well. I would highly recommend, if you are looking for movers, look no further.
