Furniture Assembly Services
We take apart bed frames, cribs, sectionals and desks at your old home, keep every bolt labeled, and put them back together in the right room at the new one.
Every bolt, cam lock and bracket goes into a labeled bag tied to its piece, so nothing goes missing between homes.
The crew that takes your furniture apart usually rebuilds it too, so they already know how every piece goes back together.
If a particleboard dresser or glued antique will not survive disassembly, we tell you before anyone picks up a screwdriver.
New furniture waiting at your new home can be assembled during the same visit instead of eating up another weekend.

It helps, but it is not required. Our crews take apart and rebuild common bed frames, cribs and desks all the time, and we photograph complicated pieces before they come apart. If you still have the paper instructions or the model number, set them with the furniture and we will use them. For newer flat-pack items, the brand’s website usually has a manual we can pull up on site.
It can. Particleboard holds screws and cam locks well the first time, but every time hardware comes out the holes wear a little. Pieces that have already been moved a few times sometimes strip out. We check the joints before starting, and if a piece looks likely to fail, we will suggest moving it whole if it fits through the doors, or let you decide whether it is worth taking at all.
Yes. Cribs and bunk beds are some of the most common pieces we reassemble, and we put every slat, rail and bolt back where the manufacturer designed it to go, then check that the frame is tight. Because these beds hold kids, we still suggest parents look the crib or guard rails over against the instructions before the first night, just as you would after any assembly.
It depends on the pieces. A basic bed frame comes apart quickly, while a loft bed, a large wardrobe or a sectional with many connectors takes longer, and new flat-pack furniture can take the most time of all. Give us a list of what needs work when you ask for a quote. We build that time into the schedule so it does not surprise you on move day.
You can, and it is fine if you are comfortable doing it. Put every screw, bolt and bracket in a zip bag, label it, and tape it to the headboard or rails so it travels with the frame. If you would rather leave it, our crew will handle it and label the hardware our way. The only thing to avoid is loose hardware tossed into a random kitchen box.
